Police FC defender Steven Mugisha says the Cops will bounce back following the 2-0 loss to Kirinya Jinja SS.
Anthony Mayanja and Musa Esenu grabbed the goals for Charles Ayiekoh’s charges at Bugembe to ensure the Cops failed to complete a double over the Students.
“We are going through a difficult period,” Mugisha who returned to the team after missing the goalless draw with Mbarara City stated. “But we take responsibility as players and have to work our socks off to get the mojo back,” he added.
“Nevertheless, am optimistic we shall bounce back sooner than later.
The Cops visit Vipers on Saturday in the round of 32 of the Uganda Cup at St. Mary’s Kitende and Mugisha believes such games need to motivation.
“It will be tough but mentally, such games are good for lifting the spirit. We shall give our all just like we do in each game.
Police won 2-1 in the league at Namboole but will have to double their effort against an on form side that has now won four back to back to games in the premier league.
