About a month ago, Vision Volleyball Camp (VVC) started their preparation for the 2018 season and top of the agenda was the Women’s Africa Club Championship.
The players – under the guidance of head coach Hannington Nsubuga – started off with physical drills before moving on to ball drills and tactical play.
With the Women’s African Club Championship coming up in under three weeks, Nsubuga is pleased with progress as far as player fitness is concerned.
“We are fully fit and ready for the challenge ahead,” Nsubuga said as quoted by the club website. “Most of my players are adopting well to the training and I am hopeful by Joan Cox tournament, everything will be in order and we will use it as a trial” he added.
The team is expected to move their training to Lugogo Indoor Stadium starting next week.
The continental showpiece will be played in Cairo, Egypt from March 6-15.
