The Cricket Cranes spent Valentine’s day on the flight from Qatar to Mumbai India.
They will play another set of build games in Mumbai against select sides and will be hosted at the Sanjay Cricket Farm.
The Cricket Cranes left Qatar after winning 2 out of the 5 games they played however, despite the loss they carried many positives from Qatar.
Deus Muhumuza was in great form with bat and bowl in Qatar, while Simon Sessazi has made sure the team doesn’t miss Kyobe Arthur that much.
Youngsters Kenneth Waiswa, Zephaniah Arinaitwe, Trevor Bukenya and Fred Achellam haven’t done bad damage to their reputations and were impressive in the games they got to play.
Captain Roger Mukasa has led from the front with the bat with his vice Brian Masaba and Hamu Kayondo offering the much needed support.
India will present new challenges for the cricket cranes but they will need to pick up as many lessons as they can.
