Groups for the 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup were announced on Tuesday, April 10.
The global showpiece of the short version of basketball will be staged in the Philippines from June 8-12 at the biggest arena on the planet, the 55,000-capacity Philippine Arena in Manila.
Uganda’s 3×3 women’s team was drawn in Group C at the 20-team tournament. They are joined by two-time champions United States of America, defending champions Russia, Andorra and Iran.

Venezuela, Czech Republic, Italy Malaysia and Turkmenistan make up Group A while China, France, Kazakhstan, Switzerland and Argentina make up Group B.
Group D has Hungary, Netherlands, German, Spain and hosts Philippines.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals.
