Irene Nakalembe will be playing in the quarter finals of the SIngleton golf challenge

When the quarter finals of the 2018 Singleton Golf challenge tournament tees off in May at the par 71 lake side Entebbe Golf Club, there will be two female pairs amongst the successful teams.

Irene Nakalembe combined with Eva Magala to edge the pairing of Charles Hamya and Joseph Bogera one up.

Meanwhile, the second female pair of Shiella Kesiime, playing with Peace Kabasweka overcame Joseph Galiwango and Ali Juuko 3/2.

Unfortunately, Wendy Angudeyo and Dorothy Mwesigye lost to Charles Mubiru and Joseph Mawejje 4/3.

The four male pairs in contention are; Kasirye & R. Busingye, Asiimwe & Francis Otim, Kaheru & Jospeh Bagabo, Joseph Mawejje & Charles Mubiru and Muhereza & Michael Tumusiime.

The winning pair will head to World Golf Tour Championships at the luxurious Jumeriah Golf Estates in Dubai, UAE from November 15-18.

Meanwhile, the professionals also played their initial qualification round.
