After the successful defense of their Kitende Zone and 2018 Wakiso district championships, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School, Kitende has not rested.
The giant footballing school has quickly embarked on preparations for the national Copa finals in Mbarara with training sessions and a couple of build up matches.
On Monday, St Mary’s Kitende out-muscled Mawokota Ssaza team 3-0 at the St Mary’s Kisubi play ground.
2015 Copa Most Valuable Player (MVP) Kippa Luwalo, Richard Basangwa and Kennedy Kasozi scored the goals for Kitende.
St Mary’s Kitende is among the schools that will play at the 2018 national copa national championships that will be hosted by Mbarara High School in Mbarara.
The national finals for girls football will be played in Fort Fortal in the same dates for boys’ football.
