Sserwadda makes KCCA squad for Esperance duty

Steven Sserwadda as been named part of the KCCA FC squad that travels to Tunisia to face Esperance in the Caf Champions League.

The silky young midfielder makes the 18-man squad that also has new faces in Gift Ali and Bernard Muwanga who got the nod ahead of others for the two remaining slots for licensing on the continent.

Muzamiru Mutyaba also returns to the team after missing the previous two continental engagements through injury and so does Ibrahim Sadam Juma the star man who brought down Al Ahly to their knees.

Muhammad Shaban, who missed the Uganda Cup final bizarrely after falling out with the manager is also on the travelling contingent that leaves on Saturday afternoon for the Tuesday fixture.

The squad

Goalkeepers: Charles Lukwago and Tom Ikara

Defenders: Timothy Awany,  Bernard Muwanga,  Mustafa Kizza,  Filbert Obenchan and Hassan Musana

Midfielders: Gift Ali, Allan Okello, Ibrahim Sadam Juma, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Jackson Nunda, Lawrence Bukenya, Isaac Kirabira, Julius Poloto and Steven Sserwadda .

Strikers: Muhammad Shaban and Patrick Kaddu
