Botswana Premier League champions Township Rollers Football Club have mutually terminated the employment contract of their head coach Nikola Kavazovic.

The Serbian national had stayed with the Mma Masire side for a period of year and three months.

According to a statement released by the club chairperson as quoted by Killer Pass, Thabo Motang and Leutlwetse Tshireletso will take over the Popa Popa in the meantime;

The management has taken this decision to respect the dignity of players, technical team, Management, Executive Committee and including President of TRFC (Township Rollers Football Club),” read the statement. Kgabung, in the statement, mentioned that in the meantime the current technical members of Thabo Motang and Leutlwetse Tshireletso will look after the club.

He won a domestic double (league and top 8 tourney) as well as guiding Township Rollers to the first ever  CAF champions League group stage level.

Kavazovic bid farewell to the players and fellow technical team members  the club’s 3-0 win over Police XI.

Killer Pass alleged that Kavazovic was in bad terms with Rollers president and chief financier Jagdish Shah after many rife cases of insubordination.

Township Rollers is home to Uganda Cranes and former KCCA utility player Ivan “Kojja” Ntege.
