The Uganda Premier League attention will be turned to Arua on Friday when Onduparaka hosts KCCA at the Green Light stadium in one of the two matches on the day.

The Caterpillars come into the game with confidence after picking six points in as many available and won against giants SC Villa in the previous game.

The same can’t be said of the visitors who drew goalless at home against Kirinya Jinja SS and have never won a league game at the Green Light stadium in two attempts.

“They are formidable at home and we have never won there,” said Mutebi. “In addition, they have a very good squad and a coach who has improved them even more,” he added before saying his side have a team capable of winning anywhere.

“It will be a very tough game but we have the team that can win anywhere. We go into the game full on confidence that we can win and am positive.

Onduparaka have four former KCCA players who will be eager to prove their worthy to the visitors after they let them go.

Denis Okot, Solomon Okwalinga, Ceaser Okhuti and Richard Ayiko have previously played for the Kasasiro and were let go by Mike Mutebi insisting they were surplus to requirements at Lugogo.

Team News:

Okhuti returns to the team after serving a two match ban carried from last season’s red card.

The visitors are without long term absentees Gift Ali, Bernard Muwanga and Peter Magambo while the game comes too early for Julius Poloto who also missed the goalless draw with Kirinya.

Nicholas Kasozi is expected to make his first start for the 12-time champions since he joined from SC Villa.

Key Stats
