Abraham Ainamani is the 2018 Entebbe Golf Open champion in the professional catergory.

The long hitting Palm Valley based professional scored a combined three under par score of 139 gross over two rounds in 36 holes.

Ainamani struck 5-under par 66 in the opening round and two-over 73 on day two.

He was a struck better of Brian Toolit.

David Kamulindwa Amooti, Vicent Araali Byamukama and Ronald Rugumayo tied for third position on 142 gross.

Adolf Muhumuza, Phillip Kasozi, Ronnie Bukenya, Opio Onito and Fred Wanzala completed the top ten professionals who will partake the total kitty of Shs 10M.

In the gross main catergory, Emmanuel Moko beat the other golfers to the top gong.

The main event will climax on Saturday with the subsidiary category for both the men and ladies before a prize awarding ceremony for the excelling golfers on the day.
