A couple of weeks after the climax of the season star, along with Hope Akello and Ritah Imanishimwe as well as Sarah Ageno represented the country at the 2018 FIBA 3×3 Africa Cup.
While the team performed below par finishing fifth at the tournament, for her exceptional performance over time, Nansikombi was picked by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) along with KCCA Leopards Burundian point guard Cynthia Irankunda to bolster their squad for the FIBA Africa Women’s Champions Cup.
And the 21-year-old has taken the continental championship by storm in the group stages, and leads in two categories thus far.
After KPA’s four group games, Nansikombi who has logged about 30 minutes per game leads in point scored with 96 and points per with 24. She is shooting an impressive 60% from the field.
