No Mwebaze No Problem as Ondu spank Ndejje

Onduparaka 3-0 Ndejje University

Onduparaka line-up vs. SC Villa

Onduparaka started life without Asaph Mwebaze who resigned on the eve of the match with a comfortable 3-0 win over visitors Ndejje University at Green Light stadium.

Denis Okot, Gaddafi Gadinho and Abel Eturude scored for the Caterpillars to put an end to a three match winless streak.

Onduparaka who had last won a game when they beat Kirinya 3-0 in Jinja went ahead after nineteen minutes when Okot slotted home his first goal in the club colours.

Gadinho doubled the lead in the 67th minute before another first timer; Abel Eturude made the points safe with a third in the 77th minute.

Veteran tactician Leo Adraa and former Cranes right back Simeon Masaba were in charge of the fixture as the Caterpillars moved to 6th position on the log with 14 points, just two adrift of log leaders Mbarara City.

Ndejje University dropped to 12th place thanks to an inferior goal difference but still on 6 points same as Maroons FC.

Action returns on Wednesday when SC Villa visits Tooro United in Buhinga.
