Silverbacks, Gazelles in Kenya for friendlies

Uganda’s senior national basketball teams Silverbacks (Men) and Gazelles (Women) left for Kenya where they will take on the hosts in a friendly.

The games are scheduled to be played on Friday, November 30 at Nyayo Stadium in Nairobi.

The games were lined up to prepare the sides for the regional qualifiers to the 2019 Afrobasket.

Albert Ahabwe leads the Ugandan contingent in Kenya, which has 21 players and three coaches.

Mandy Juruni will handle the Silverbacks while Ali Mavita and Nick Natuhereza will be in charge of the Gazelles.
