CS Sfaxien coach Ruud Krol expects a tough encounter when his side face Vipers at St. Mary’s stadium, Kitende on Saturday.
The meeting will be in the first leg of the playoff round of the Caf Confederation Cup with the four time champions hosting the return match in a week’s time.
“Vipers is a good team and it will be a very difficult match after this long trip from Tunis to Uganda,” Krol told the press on arrival at Entebbe on Thursday.
“Of course it always has an influence on the physical part of the team and we hope that we have full recovery after the two days’ rest and we can make a good result here in Uganda,” he added.
“We have prepared well as a team we know it’s going to be a tough game and we shall be working towards getting the result we need.”
Sfaxien are four time winners (1998, 2007, 2008 and 2013) of this competition while Vipers have never played at this stage.
