  • Vipers Vs Kiboga Young – St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende (4:00 PM)
  • BUL Vs Bukedea Town Council – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru (4:00 PM)

Vipers Sports Club plays host to Kiboga Young in a Uganda Cup round of 16 duel at the St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende on Saturday.

This will be one of the two matches lined up on the day, in the knock out tournament.

The other match will see BUL entertain Bukedea Town Council at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.

The last time that Kiboga Young faced Vipers at Kitende was last year during the Uganda Cup round of 32, Vipers carrying the day 6-0.

Vipers will bank on the experience of players as Tadeo Lwanga (captain), Moses Waiswa, goalkeeper Fabien Mutombora, Dan Sserunkuma, Abraham Ndugwa, Tito Okello, Geofrey Wasswa, among others for inspiration.

Kiboga Young head coach Kawooya believes his charges have the impetus to cause a shock at Kitende.

We have learnt key lessons from the last time we visited St Mary’s to face Vipers. Although, we lost by a big margin back then, we picked key lessons from that match.

Vipers’ Michael ‘Nam’ Ouma and Edward Golola are eyeing nothing than victory in the game to stand a chance of clinching a domestic double.

In the other match on Saturday, Peter Onen’s BUL will face FUFA Big League side Bukedea Town Council at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru.
