KCCA Leopards will hope for a quick recovery as they face new comers MUK Sparks in their second game of the season.

Ali Mavita’s charges fell to reigning champions JKL Lady Dolphins in the season opener on Friday last week and will hope they can negotiate past MUK Sparks on Wednesday at YMCA Outdoor court.

Despite leading 25-17 at halftime, KCCA Leopards failed to contain an explosive JKL Lady Dolphins side in the second stanza and eventually lost the game 49-70.

They failed to march the pace of the defending champions with Jamila Nansikombi who had a game high 20 points proving a threat whenever JKL Lady Dolphins surged forward.

However, against newly promoted Makerere Sparks, the Leopards will hope they have what it takes to get their first win this season.

Cynthia Irankunda and Lilian Atieno who had 11 and 10 points respectively in the previous game will lead KCCA Leopard’s charge.

Beryl Aoko, Christine Akinyi and Martha Soigi will also be expected to up their game on Wednesday.

On the other hand, MUK parks fell 41-62 to KIU Rangers in their first game but will hope they can stun KCCA Leopards.
