Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has confirmed they have written to CAF seeking their match against Wydad Casablanca in the Champions League to be rescheduled.
The match is slated for Friday next week but Mosimane wants it moved to Saturday due to their midweek engagement in the PSL.
The Brazilians host Free State Stars in the PSL on Tuesday before travelling to Morocco and thus would only be left with two days to travel.
“Wydad are aware that we are playing on Tuesday and the game is on Friday. We are trying to get the match played on Saturday,” said Mosimane.
Recently, CAF recently granted Al Ahly the chance to push their match against Sundowns a day later than scheduled after the Egyptian side played a domestic game in midweek before travelling to South Africa.
