Mbogo schools maintain dominance in schools Table Tennis

The perennial dominance for the Mbogo schools in the Table Tennis sport has been further manifested during the 2019 Fresh Dairy Secondary School games currently taking place at Mbale S.S.

The Mbogo trio of College, High and Mixed institutions have thus far posted meaningful positive results and stamped their authority onto the games that they have dominated for years now.

In some of the girls games earlier played at the Mbale S.S Table Tennis center, Mbogo College won their opening two matches with an identical 3-0 score line over Jinja College and Seeta High School, Green Campus.

Mbogo High overcame Namagunga girls 3-0 and Mbogo Mixed smiled over Joy Secondary school with a similar score line.

The Mbogo schools dominance has been also spread to the men wing.

Mbogo College scored 3-0 to win Kakungulu Memorial School and Jinja College.

Mbogo Mixed School out-witted Namilyango College 3-1.

The only grey area for the Mbogo zone schools was the 3-0 loss of Mbogo Mixed High School to Seeta High School (Green Campus).

Other games:

In some of the other girls’ games, Seeta High School narrowly won 3-2 against St Andrews Sanda, Nabisunsa Girls School defeated MaryHill High School 3-0, Trinity College Nabingo beat Joy Secondary 3-0 and Namagunga Girls were 3-1 over Seroma Christian High School.

St Michael International smiled 3-1 and 3-0 over Maryhill High School and Nabisunsa Girls School respectively.

The boys’ games saw Kakungulu Memorial out-muscle Jinja College 3-1, Caltec Academy, Makerere won 3-0 over Seroma Christian High School and Seeta High School, Mbalala campus defeated 3-0 Busoga College, Mwiri.

Meanwhile, Seeta High School Green Campus pipped Namilyango College 3-0, St Michael International School smiled over Seroma Christian High School with a 3-0 score-line and Ubutu Hill School edged Busoga College, Mwiri.

The other boy’s games witnessed St Michael International beat Caltec Academy 3-0 and Ubuntu Hill School narrowly won over Seeta High School, Green Campus 1-0.

The Fresh Dairy Secondary school games include started on Sunday and will climax on Saturday, 11th May 2019.

They include Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Football (girls), Hockey and Basketball.

The best performing schools will represent the country at the 2019 East African Secondary School games in Arusha, Tanzania.
