Former IBF light middleweight champion Kassim “The Dream”Ouma is dreaming of organising a home coming fight in Kampala come December this year.

“I am planning on organising a home coming fight it has been a long time since I fought,” Ouma said in a

facebook message. “I have always wanted to give a fight to my fans back in Kampala something to remember.”

The California based boxer last fought in June last year where he challenged Kazan boxer and World Boxing Association world middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin,who knocked him out in a bloody fight which had the Ugandan fighter spend a night in hospital for observation by the doctors.

He was adviced to take a full break from competitive boxing to save him from sustain more damaging effects to his brain.

Ouma has also been promoting his fight and doing community work in the USA as he seeks to gain his lost glory in the ring.

He is best remembered for claiming the IBF light middleweight in 2004 with a unanimous victory over Verno Phillips he made one defense and lost his crown on his second defense against Russian Roman “Made in Hell”Karmazin a year later. Ouma has 27 wins 8 loses 1 draw and 17 Knockouts.
