Week 3 (6th December): Kalungi Jingo Vs Edward Odonceng

Moses Otiti took a grueling 2 hours  to dispatch Dean Kibirige 6-2, 6-1 and 6-1 in the inaugural Tennis Explosion match played at the Lugogo Center Courts on Friday.

“I am very excited about this win. My fore hand made my opponent commit lots of unforced errors”, a visibly ecstatic Otiti told Kawowo Sports shortly after being presented with the winner’s Ug. shs 100,000 and the crate of beer.

Ironically, the idea of the tennis explosion is a brain child of the inaugural winner himself having developed the a positive argument with Robert Buyinza, another tennis player.

“Its joy unlimited deep inside my heart to see that my own idea has kicked off”, Otiti says.

The Tennis Explosion marked the first round of play last Friday with action expected to last for the entire year.

Every week will come forth with its own winner and its all gold for the victor, as the loser walks home empty handed.

This week, David Oringa takes on Robert Manyali.
