HALFTIME: Uganda 1 -2 Tanzania

A beautiful brace from Tanzanian danger man, Mwrisho Ngassa puts Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro Stars in a well deserved lead by the first opening 45 minutes of the first quarter finals played at the Mombasa Municipal Stadium in the Kenyan Coastal town.

Dan Sserunkuma put Uganda in the a 16th minute well deserved lead following a beautifully laid low ball down the right flank from Hamis ‘Diego’ Kizza. But a lapse in the Uganda backline shortly after the game re-start cost Uganda dear.

Dangerman, Mwrisho Ngassa met Samata Mbwana’s cross from the right and the Kilimanjaro Stars leveled. Ngassa was at it again in the 39th Minute this time, benefiting from a free-kick after Godfrey Walusimbi had brought Samata down from 35 yards.
