Uganda Cranes winger, Luwagga Kizito has joined countrymen Apollo Razak and Alex Kakuba at Portuguese Sporting Club Covilha from second division side, Leixoes.
The development comes just a day after another Ugandan, Martin Mutumba moved from AIK in Sweden to Turkish club Çaykur Rizespor.
Kizitio, a former Vipers football club player had signed for second division side Leixões in the summer of 2012, a club where he played 27 matches and scored 7 goals. He then made his debut for the Matosinhos club on the 16 September against Leça in a Taça de Portugal second round tie.
He marked his debut with a goal which helped his side defeat the opposition 4–1.He would follow up his debut with goals in the Taça da Liga and Segunda Liga, against Vitória de Setúbal and Braga B.
His impressive goal scoring form could have been the major factor to this transfer that will keep him at the new club for 2 complete seasons.
