Sadolin Paints become the first official FUFA Big side to get promoted to the 2013/14 top flight football league.

This was after beating their closest rivals, Rweshama / KJT 2 – 0 at the Bugembe stadium in Jinja on Thursday.

Nasser Nsubuga and Fred Ssegujja got the goals that promoted the Jinja based side with 3 more games to play.

Sadolin Bugembe now have 39 points, 10 ahead of Rwenshama in the Elgon group log of the FUFA Big league.

Sadolin Paints manger, Saidi Kakunku hailed his charges for the spirited perfomance from his team. “We still have 3 games to play and i count my season as good as over.

I thank all the players and management, the fans for being with the team all season long”, Kakunku spoke to Kawowo sports in a telephone interview.

In the other games played, Artland K held The Saints to a 1 all draw at the Buziga Islamic school play grounds in a Rwenzori group fixture.

Veteran Badru Ssekanyi put home side, Artland Katale in a 38th minute lead before Nelson Ssempagala equalized moments later.

Mvara Boys failed to travel to Lweza and the latter stand to earn 3 points and 3 goals should the committee find no geniue reason why the Arua based side failed to make it.

Wandegeya beat Ndejje University 1 – 0 in the other game played at Kitezzi play grounds. Hope Doves lost at their Namboole fotress 0 – 1 to another Jinja team, Kirinya/Jinja s.s while away in Kumi, home side, Kumi University and Mbale Heroes played to a 1 all draw.

Each of the 2 group winners in the Elgon and Rwenzori groups qualifies directly to the top flight football division while the subsequent 2 best teams per group make it to the play offs to determine the third side which will play in next year’s FUFA super league.
