Army side Simba football club played to a non-scoring draw against Soana in a build up game played at Nelson Mandela national stadium on Friday.

An early injury to returning prodigal son, Francis Olaki denied Soana testing their former player who left for a brief stint with Albanian side, F.C Tirana.

Olaki pulled a hamstring just after a quarter of action before being replaced by former BUL F.C skipper, Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku.

Simba used two Kenyan premier league players, Musa Mudde and Robert Omunku, who are both legible to feature for the army side in the forthcoming East African military games due in Kampala.

This was yet another friendly match for the two sides in the  pre-season period.

Simba has previously won three games – 2-0 over The Saints, 1-0 over Maroons, 2-1 against Police before losing to Kampala City Council 1-0.

Soana football club recently lost 1-0 to SC Villa in another build up game.
