Unlike the previous editions where players and fans have been accorded the liberty of celebrating the festive days with their families, this time round it is different.

The Uganda Premier League secretariat confirmed the rescheduling for four fixtures that were earlier postponed to boxing day.

According to a statement released to the media; “The fixtures shall be honored on Saturday 26th December 2015”

These include the tax collectors’ match between URA FC and KCCA FC, the washed game between SCVU and JMC Hippos F.C, Vipers SC against Express FC and Maroons against Bright Stars at Luzira.

For the SC VU versus JMC Hippos fixture, which had only 45 minutes played, special regulations have been communicated to the two clubs;

a) The match shall recommence with the same players on the pitch and substitutes available as when the match was initially abandoned.

b) No additional substitutes may be added to the list of players on the team sheet.

c) The team can make only the number of substitutions to which they were still entitled when the match was abandoned.

d) Players sent off during the abandoned match cannot be replaced.

e) Any sanctions imposed before the match was abandoned remain valid for the remainder of the match.
