Ex-Uganda Cranes Coach Bobby Williamson is on the verge of an exit from the Kenya national team Harambee Stars thanks to the new FKF executive.

Ever since the new executive headed by the new FA boss Nick Mwendwa came in, rumor is ripe that they are no longer interested in retaining the Scott who replaced Adel Amrouche a couple of years ago.

Kawowo Sports understands that they held a meeting which particularly discussed the fate of the technical bench with changes expected although none has broken the silence as Vice President Doris Petra confirmed to Goal.com.

“The issue of reconstituting the technical bench was widely discussed in our meeting and a formal announcement will be made soon. We will retain some people while others will be let go,” Petra told Goal.

Williamson demands over Ksh. 30 million (Ugx. 100m) and Petra stated they are committed to clearing this. “We are committed to clear what he is owed.”

There are already reports that Amrouche will return to the helm but for the meantime, Stanley Okumbi is expected to be named as interim coach.

As usual, we shall keep you posted.
