2016 University Football League:
Nkumba University 1-0 Uganda Martyr’s University, Nkozi
Lanky midfielder Ramadhan Kibirango scored a wonderful header after 26 minutes that witnessed hosts Nkumba University defeat Uganda Martyr’s University, Nkozi on Wednesday.
This was the first game of the 2016 University Football League played at the Nkumba University play ground.
Nkumba’s head coach Patrick Sebuliba was thrilled by the result which gives his team the edge ahead of next week’s visit to Ndejje University.
“It is always crucial to win the opening game of the season and moreover at home. It gives us confidence ahead of next week’s match against Ndejje University” Sebuliba who also doubles as the sports tutor noted.
The teams were given new sets of jerseys.

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) will host Kampala International University at Luzira play ground on Thursday, 31st March 2016.
