*Doctors call for Farouk Miya rest after concussion
The Uganda Cranes and Standard Liege forward could miss the East African country’s AFCON 2017 qualifier against Botswana after doctors called for his rest following a concussion.
Miya collapsed in transit to Harare but managed to play some part in the team’s training session on Monday at Rufaro stadium.
Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic, the Uganda Cranes head coach spoke exclusively to Kawowo Sports;
He had a similar problem during the CECAFA 2015 tournament. We can not risk him because life is more important than football
Miya did not play any part in the international build up against Zimbabwe.

He was taken on in January following an agreement between Vipers and Standard Liege for a six months loan deal with a buy option in case he impressed, a feat he achieved.
