UCU Canons has got a plethora of young energetic players who can run all night.

It’s no surprise they score a lot on transition and when effective, they can too much to handle.

Going into the opening game of the playoffs first round tonight, Warriors assistant coach Ronnie Mutebi is well aware of the challenge they are up against.

“It (transition defense) is something we have been working on. We know they are a transition team and we have to counter that,” he said.

On the other end, Warriors want to put their size advantage to use.

“We have to go big. I think we outmatch them in terms of size. We have to move that ball and attack the empty spaces in their zone.”

Asked on the outcome of the game, Mutebi said: “There is no other way around it. We have to win the first game regardless of the number of games.”
