Erisa Sekisambu joins Vipers on 3 year deal

League champions Vipers SC have continued their bid to strengthen the squad by signing Erisa Sekisambu on a three year deal.

The striker cum midfielder who is currently with the national team ahead of the CHAN 2016 qualifier return leg against Tanzania becomes the club’s official fifth signing after Duncan Seninde, Brian Nkuubi, Shafiki Bakaki and John Semazzi.

The move was announced by club secretary Harunah Kyobe on social media without revealing the financial details of the deal though he stated that details will be the club’s official website

Vipers Sports Club have completed the signing of Erias Sekisambu from SC Villa in a bid to strengthen the squad for the forthcoming competitions. The deal has been sealed this afternoon and the versatile player put pen to paper on a three year contract. A detailed story to follow on

Sekisambu had a fantastic season with SC Villa scoring 10 goals in all competitions and was chosen the Most Valuable Player of the Uganda Cup.

His capture will without doubt strengthen Vipers’ attack as they aim at defending the league title as well do well on the continent in their inaugural appearance at the CAF Champions League. 

Sekisambu has previously played for Express FC on two stints same as SC Villa and also played for URA FC.
