The Ugandan international has been playing for Yenicami Ağdelen F.C in Northern Cyprus.

Ha Noi F.C head coach, Nguyễn Dức Thắng has a lot of faith in Mwesigwa’s potentiality ahead of the 2016 season which kicks off on Sunday against Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

He is the final addition to solve our defensive puzzle coming into the v League this year. I wish him and the other teammates a season of flowers, dedication and success

Haiti striker, Jean Eudes Maurice is the other foreign based player that Thang signed.

Mwesigwa’s move to Vietnam cements his ever swelling list of clubs featured for.

He has previously played for Mbale Heroes F.C, Sports Club Villa (Uganda), IBV (Iceland), Chongqing Lifan (China), Ordabasy (Kazakhstan) and lately Yenicami Ağdelen F.C (Northern Cyprus).

In the 2015 mid-season window, he failed to agree with Bidvest Wits of South Africa and the negotiations failed at the last minute.

He is yet to officially announce retirement from national duty, implying given a good run of form, the national team selectors still have him in mind.

At Câu lạc bộ bóng F.C, Mwesigwa will don shirt 33.

He joins another Ugandan in the Vietnamese premier league; Moses Oloya (Becamex Dinh Doung).

Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito is yet to be included on the Quang Nai team rooster for the current season since his failed move to Spanish club Malaga in January 2016.
