Preparations for a successful 2016 Futsal Revamped boxing Day Challenge are complete.
The inaugural championship will take place on Monday, December 26 (Boxing Day) at the Champions Futsal Arena in Busega, Kampala.
A total of eight teams are confirmed for the day long championship.
The event has been dubbed the “Futsal Revamped tournament”
According to the Chief Executive Officer of FAU, Hamza Jjunju, the event is aimed at promoting the game in Uganda as a Competitive and recreational Sport.
We have had quite a good year where we had the inaugural mini league.
Now, we have the Futsal Revamped Tourney coming up on Boxing Day in Busega at the Champions Futsal Arena between 10 a.m to 4 p.m
The detailed fixtures have been since released with kick off of the opening match between Bagimu and Seeta Galacticos scheduled for 9 a.m.
