French Ligue 1 side Montpellier has signed Mamelodi Sundowns talented midfielder Keegan Dolly.

The French side has reportedly forked an astronmical fee of  1.7 Million euros surpassing the fee sundowns asked for after amending the buy out clause.

According to SowetanLive, the deal is now complete after Montpellier and Sundowns finally came to a common understanding as regards the buy out clause.

The former Ajax Cape Town play maker had a buy out clause of  €750,000 which was now changed to €1.5m.

Montpellier reportedly tabled an offer around €1.7m to which the club accepted according to Bruno Satin.

It is almost sorted. I’m sure they will get him. They have lifted their fee, I reckon it could be done by the end of the day. They really want him.

A number of clubs had been linked to the midfielder to include Aston Villa and Major League Soccer clubs.
