Last season’s Uganda Premier League champions, KCCA FC and Uganda Cup winners, Vipers SC expressed their interest to host the continental games at their respective grounds.

KCCA FC, representatives in the CAF Champions League presented to the continental body Philip Omondi Stadium as their home ground while Vipers SC, representative in the CAF Confederations Cup presented St. Mary’s Stadium.

A CAF official, Peter Kenneth Mclead, will to jet in the country today, Friday 27th January, 2017 with an assignment of inspecting the two stadiums.

The inspection will be done on Saturday, 28th January. The inspection St Mary’s Stadium will be done in the morning and Phillip Omondi Stadium later in the afternoon.

KCCA host Angola’s Primero Agosto on 10th February, 2017 while Vipers will host Comoros side Volcan De Moron ob 11th February.
