The final 18 man squad for Rivers United vs KCCA to be played in Nigeria was released on Saturday afternoon.

There are two goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 6 midfielders and 3 forwards.

Ivan Ntege, Julius Poloto and Allan Okello who did not make the match day squad for the Uganda Cup 2-0 final against Paidha Black Angels in Arua are part of the traveling contingent.

Isaac Kirabira is among the notable players who remain at home. Others are out of favour Robert Sentongo, Brian Majwega, Soulamoni Akinyemi and a cast of injured players.

The team departed the country early Sunday morning ahead of Tuesday’s group A match in the return leg of the CAF Confederation cup.

They fley out minutes past mid-night by Ethiopian Airlines.

The match will take place at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium in Port Harcourt city.

FUFA Executive committee member Hamid Juma is the leader of delegation.
