The Uganda Cranes delegation for the return leg of the FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Egyptian Pharaohs left the country early Sunday morning.

The contingent had 20 players and 14 officials led by FUFA president  Moses Magogo and the official head of delegation, Hamid Juma.

Interim head coach Moses Basena who took over Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic sounded positive prior to the journey.

“We pray that God grants us a good journey. Uganda is ready to face Egypt away. Gone are the days when there was phobia for the North African teams. We expect a positive result,” Basena stated.

In Alexandria, the team will be accommodated at Raddison Blue Hotel.

Their first session will be held on Sunday evening and the final training on Monday at 8:45 p.m, the exact timing of the match kick off.
