Midfielder Mudde set for first home match at Gokulam Kerala Foot club in India

Following a convincing debut at his new home Gokulam Kerala, Ugandan born midfielder Musa Mudde will play before the passionate and enthusiastic home fans in Kerala this Sunday.

On his debut, Mudde starred with as he guided Gokulam Kerala to a slim 1-0 victory on the road to Chennai City on Sunday, 21st January 2018.

Santu Singh scored a minute after the hour mark against Chennai City at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Coimbatore.

For starters, Mudde completed his move to Gokulam Kerala Football Club over a fortnight ago as a free agent following successful stints in the Kenyan Premier League at Bandari and AFC Leopards.

In India, he became the second high profile Uganda to play in India in the recent times.

Ugandan midfielder Kezironi Kizito joined Indian Super league club Kerala Blaster F.C,  a club owned by Blasters Sports Pvt Limited and former cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.

Kizito has since sustained a shoulder injury that keeps him sidelined upto another three weeks.

Mudde is excited ahead of the clash on Sunday before home fans.

The hard working box-to-box player who has 25 caps with the Uganda Cranes team is expected to be named by manager V.Soundararajan in a compact midfield that also has M.Irshad and K.Zhimomi.
