The Global transfer season has continued to reap big for many of the Ugandan footballers as yet another promising talent, Ronald Mukiibi has joined Swedish giants, B.K Hacken from Qviding FIF. 

In a quite fruitful January transfer window where close to five Ugandans have made respective moves from one club to another, Mukiibi, who joined Qviding FIF from the side’s Under 19 side in 2011, Mukiibi, a center half player who is born to Ugandan father has also penned a two year deal with the  Goteborg based side that plays in the Swedish top division the Allsvenskan.

The 22 year old rock solid defender who has the ability to pass the ball out of defense with the ease of a surgeon equipped with his machinery at work, joins fellow Ugandan born fast paced left winger, Sula ‘Malouda’ Matovu, who is in BK Hacken on a year long loan deal from Iraqi side El Ebril.

Since the start of the virgin 2014, a couple of Uganda players have changed sides, with Martin Mutumba leaving Sweden  where he was featuring for AIK for Turkey club Caykur Rizespor and Kizito Luwagga switching from Portuguese league one side to the premier division team of Sporting Colvilha.

Other regional tranfers include that of Godfrey Walusimbi crossing over from SC Villa, where he has been on loan from Congo side, Don Bosco to Gor Mahia while Emmanuel Okwi moved to Tanzanian giants, Yanga from SC Villa.
